Metro Monitor My News Media Monitoring App

Transcript: Metro Monitor is pleased to announce the release of our new mobile Media Monitoring app. The My News Now App provides you with the ability to quickly view and share your media results on any mobile device. We know you are busy and not always in front of a computer, so we thought it was important to give you a better way to stay on top of your media coverage when you are on the go.

You can login to the app using the same login and password that you use for logging in to your Media Monitor Pro account.

Once you are logged in, you can get a quick overview of the number of mentions for your search terms during the past day, 7 days, 14 days, and 30 days.

After you click on the Inbox folder, you will be taken to the summary listing detailing the date, time, and media outlet for each of your stories.

You can easily navigate through the listing to identify the stories you would like to review in more detail.

Clicking on a story will take you to the detail screen and give you the opportunity to review the summary text for the story.

For TV mentions, clicking on the “View” link will take you to the video for your story.

Clicking on the “Share” link gives you the ability to share news clips via email, Twitter, and any other sharing accounts you have set up on your mobile device.

TV Clips, radio news clips, Online News, and social media mentions can be reviewed and easily shared.

The sharing tools allow you to share stories with other people on your team or with a larger audience via social networks such as Twitter.

Also provided in the app, is a stats and charts section that will provide you with quick insights into the trends and impact of your media coverage.

The My News Now app is provided for free to all Metro Monitor clients that utilize our Media Monitor Pro service. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices. We are proud to provide this tool to our clients and look forward to making future enhancements to the app.
